Since Global Warming is a concern to all of us, emission of massive CO2 should be concern to each developed and developing countries as it causes Global Warming mainly. As study is saying that China emits most CO2 nearly 24% of world's total while USA and European Union emit 18% and 14% respectively. Aggregate of above three exceeds 50% of total. Before listing the top ten countries, let's check some important stats :
World's total carbon dioxide( CO2) emission in 2013 : 36 gigatonnes
- 61% higher than the year 1990
- 2.3% higher than the year 2012
- Qatar is in the top position by carbon dioxide emission per capita ( 44 metric tons in 2009 )
- Human beings produces nearly 5% of carbon dioxide of total. Rests are from other resources.
