Desert is a barren or abandon area where unavailability of plant or insufficient plant( lowest density on the earth) and climate results unability of living except some special species.
Deserts are mainly of three types :-
i) Subtropical ii) Polar iii) Cold Winter
Subtropical desert is in subtropic climatic zone. Maximum deserts are subtropical in type where insufficient rainfall gradually converts land area in sand and high temperature( 58 deg C maximum in Sahara, 70.7 deg C in Lut desert recorded by NASA satellite ) is experienced in day time but converts in cold area in night.
Polar desert is such desert where average cold weather is experienced through out the year but specially in winter season lowest temperature is recorded( -88 deg C in Vostok, Antarctica)
Cold Winter desert, also known as semi-arid desert is cold in winter with low rainfall and snowfall but summer is long and dry.
