The Lambert Glacier that located in Antarctica( coordinates : 71°S 70°E), is the largest glacier in the world with the total length of 250 mile and width of 60 mile. Also it is one of the fastest moving ice stream that flows from high elevation to low elevation.

The Beardmore Glacier, currently in 2nd position( length: 125 mile, width: 25 mile) in our list, is one of the largest valley glaciers in the world. It is located near to Central Transantarctic Mountain in coordinates 83°45′S 171°0′E.

It takes the 3rd spot in the list but it is the
largest ( 2031 sq. mile) and
longest ( 118 mile) glacier in Alaska. It is located coastal south Alaska, a 60-61 degree north and 141-145 degree west( coordinate :
60°18′08″N 143°25′11″W.

This glacier is in the 4th position in the list. It is one of the major glacier in Antarctica which is about 85 mile long and 15 mile wide. Its coordinate is
80°20′S 159°00′E.

Nimrod Glacier(coordinate : 81°21′S 163°00′E) is also a major glacier in Antarctica which has taken 5th position with
length of 84 mile. It flows from polar plateau and through the Transantartic Mountain it spills into Shackleton Inlet.

Amundsen Glacier of Antarctica, which is currently in the 6th spot in our list, located in the coordinates 85°35′S 159°00′W. However its total length is 80 mile but width is only 6 mile.

It is the 2nd longest Glacier in Alaska followed by the Bering but in 7th position in our list with the length of 76 mile. It is located in the coordinates 60°18′50″N 139°22′15″W.
