The four reasons that I stated in the article Continent According to Population is seemed to be the root cause for such like population as total population in the world is nearly 7.12 billion, simply the matter of deep concern. The four reasons are :-
1. Historical society
2. Illiteracy
3. Poverty
4. Lack of idea for protecting population
Let's discuss the top ten countries with highest population.
#1 CHINA :

China holds the peak position with the total population of 1,347 million. Why such like population? Since the ancient time China had a developed civilian society. In the past, people from Europe and Asia mainly made a relationship with Chinese people for many aspect such as business, culture, for permanently establishment etc. Gradually China converts to more developed and population started to increase. However illiteracy, poverty like problems made an impact for the growth of population. In this era, lack of idea for protecting population remains the same cause in case of China as like other countries, though One Child Policy had an endeavour to draw the growth of population.

Since some decades, Nigeria, despite being the largest economy in Africa, is suffering from economical crisis. Also poverty, illiteracy like problems have reached in the peak. A study is saying that any state/country is unable to resolve any problem without proper economic strength where Nigeria is the best example of that statement. That's why, those problems have remained unchanged resulting growth of population which is 7th in the world.
Like the above countries, Bangladesh is facing the same problems. Also lack of idea for protecting population, corruption etc have become the main drawback regarding this issue.
Russia, the top country with total land area, has been listed in 9th position as total population is 143 million. Russia is one of low dense country in the list. Comparing with total area, Russia's population is not so high. It is because of some region's climatic weather that's not suitable for any human being. That's why major part of the total population is inbound in some particular areas.
Japan is in the final position in the list. Japan had a civilian society since ancient time which gradually enlarged by population. That's why, despite being small country according to size, such like population present in Japan.
Brazil is in the 5th position in the list. Brazil had an old civilian society which till now somehow depends on the river Amazon. That's why, from the past, Brazil gradually had converted to a higher populated country.
